NYCHA Development Data Book contains the main body of the “Development Data Book” as of January 1, 2016. The Development Data Book lists all of the Authority’s Developments alphabetically and includes information on the development identification numbers, program and construction type, number of apartments and rental rooms, population, number of buildings and stories, street boundaries, and political districts.
In December 2016, NYCHA closed on the first RAD agreement which brought $325 million to Ocean Bay (Bayside) in Queens, a development which was badly affected during Hurricane Sandy. In January 2017, HUD has authorized NYCHA to bring an additional 1,700 units into the PACT program and begin the process to engage residents and raise significant financial resources for desperately needed repairs through a public-private partnership.
